I'm Brian Rose, and I made this film. Thanks everyone who posted comments for their kind words, and those who watched my film. I hope you enjoyed it! And my thanks to Josh Gumiela who wrote the score, and Danielle Williamson who lent her voice. To keep this film at 3:00, we all agreed to leave the credits off, so I thought they deserved to be recognized.

And good luck to everyone else who entered!

I rather like this one. Nice selection of images with a nice bit of dramatic music. The narrator's voice was compelling as well. I also liked the increase in the pace of the edit as the film went on.

goosebumps. Very nice and sad. I'm hopeful that more preservation rather than destruction goes on.

This was so cool, I loved being let in on the process of restoration and to see what was salvageable.

I like this video.

Kudos to everyone working to restore and preserve motion picture film.

Film is the only medium to past the test of time for recording moving images. Over one hundred years and counting.

The best method for storing moving images on electronic medium has yet be be decided.
